The Naman 2001 was a dedication to the spirit of tradition and innovation; it was a homage to all great musicians who helped in revival of this great art form.

Held in Indore at Jal Auditorium on 1st and 2nd December 2001, it was a collusion of veteran and young performers.

The event is remebered for the colloquium held in the morning on 2nd December, in which musicians and connoisseurs of Indore exchanged views about the modern practices.
